Happy V-Day!


I walked across the carpet just a while ago to give Earnie her Valentine's Day card, then she stated to plant a smooch on me and a spark arced from her lips to mine popping loudly. After the initial shock wore off (literally) we figured it's all part of making memories. Hope you and your love do as well!

We meet to part and part to meet The parting’s mostly bittersweet When one is absent from our space It leaves a hole one can’t replace When loved ones are called away To new horizons and can’t stay In the familiar anymore to remain We still miss them dearly clear and plain But there can be no regrets And we will nevermore forget The blessed tie that binds us still While they seek their calling to fulfill. Anthony sez: Musings on Online and Offline Society

In the past couple of years I have had the delight to make contact with many new friends who are distantly and not so distantly related to us. Just the other day we ran into a cousin I had not seen in at least a dozen years, and we connected via email. We now have contact with a first cousin Earnie had never met till now. Email and the net , again made this possible. the Facebook friends connections are growing and I have had several occasions where an update on their site registered with me and I find the issues arising at prayer time. One of my best friends just started a substantial blog of his own and I am excited about reading his thoughts there. All in all the social networking phenomenon has begun to touch our lives and there is no turning back, I think. Not to say that the face to face contact it can lead to is replaceable.
