Hallelujah
Hallelujah, He is Risen, who is the first and last Beyond the valley of the shadow he has surely passed He lives, he lives who once was dead We sing hallelujah to our God who bled. His tomb is now empty for death held Him in vain So shall the tombs of them be, who in Him remain Those who died with Him who died upon the tree Shall surely rise again to live righteously. And death cannot stifle immortal breath The grave’s power has died with death He died for all so that those who live begin To no longer live for self but rather Live for Him. Our sure response is Holy Jubilation A joyous song now fills us with elation He is the sacrifice of expiation He is the cause of all our celebration The Lord sits on His throne in the heavenlies He is reigning according to His sovereign decree.
