Image
We stand in wonder at your beauty We lift our hearts before your throne We serve from passion , not of duty We worship You and You alone You are the all -glorious Over all victorious Every knee shall bow and tongue confess You are all- glorious Found meritorious Worthy is the Name we profess. We prostrate our souls and our minds and our hearts As we fall in awe on our face We are undone by the name that imparts Salvation, redemption by grace You are the all -glorious Over all victorious Every knee shall bow and tongue confess You are all- glorious Found meritorious Worthy is the Name we profess. Glory be to God the Father Glory be to God the Son Glory be to God the Spirit We worship the all- glorious One You are the all -glorious Over all victorious Every knee shall bow and tongue confess You are all- glorious Found meritorious Worthy is the Name we profess. Wounded for the Broken

Image
Inescapable darkness Had fallen on all men But steadfast love and faithfulness Falls harder on our sin So you came to put on flesh Came down to bloody earth Condescending in the crèche To cleanse it by your birth Dawn will break upon us The Son of Righteousness shall rise because of the tender mercy of our God, The light shall illuminate our eyes To shine on those living in darkness From chains of captivity release Those who sit in the shadow of death, Guide our feet into the path of peace. Wounded for the broken So we could be lifted up You were lifted up before us And so we lift this cup Priceless blood of Jesus Your holy cup of grace Was poured down on the altar Our suffering you embraced Bridge Eternal word that became flesh Condescending in the crèche Glory limited by choice Wrath bearer with an infant’s voice Our righteousness has been fulfilled While sin’s wages devastated men He became a ransom And his righteousness covered our sins. Wounded for the broken So we could be lift...

I Put my Trust in You

Image
When I am dismayed When in need of aid When I am afraid I put my trust in You Anxiety runs high Troubles ever nigh To your arms I fly I put my trust in You You are a balm My heart you will calm When I will draw near Then I recall You’ve been there through it all Then faith casts out all my fear When I am forlorn And my mind is torn When I need to mourn I put my trust in you In pleasure or in pain Whether loss of gain This world I will fain I put my trust in you I turn to You Who are faithful and true When doubt and fear assails Though I am but dust I place all of my trust In the One who never fails When my death draws near I wont shed a tear Never doubt or fear I put my trust in you I put my trust in you I put my trust in you Psalm 56:3 Proverbs 3:5-6 Anthony Foster November 15, 2018

We worship His Majesty, with a holy fear We worship His Majesty yet we draw near We fall on our face as we enter the place To worship the Holy One that we revere The days the locusts ate have been restor...

Housebuilder

Image
A foolish man  built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and floods came with the sudden squall The winds blew and beat against that house, Till it fell apart- and great was its fall   (Matthew 7:24-27) A wise man built his house on the rock. The rain and the floods came against its walls, And the winds blew and beat upon that house, but because it had been founded on the rock it did not fall! We’ve a firm foundation in our cornerstone (Isaiah 28:16) We’ve a Rock of refuge from every storm (Psalm 31:2, 71:3, 94:22, Isaiah 17:10) We’ve a holy housebuilder whose building is sure (Ezekiel 36 : 36) We’re the house He’s building and we will endure! (Hebrews 3 :6) Woe to him who builds his house And without justice or righteousness (Jeremiah 22:13-14) His upper rooms are desolate With devastation and distress (Amos 5:11) Guide us to Your holy habitation, Lord,  (Exodus 15:13) Where Your glory dwells in the place (Psalm 26:8) A house of prayer for all the peop...
