The Day of Grace

 Now is the time to serve the Lord,
The time to insure the great reward;
And while the lamp holds out to burn,
The vilest sinner may return.

Now is the hour that God has given
To escape from hell and fly to heav'n;
The day of grace, and mortals may
Secure the blessings of the day.

This, this, this is the day of grace
This, this, this is the time and place.
Time to approach the glorious throne
To rest in the presence of the living stone
This, this, this is the day of grace.

The living know that they must die,
But all the dead forgotten lie;
Their memory and their sense is gone,
Alike unknowing and unknown.

Then what my thoughts design to do,
My hands, with all your might pursue;
Since no device nor work is found,
Nor faith, nor hope, beneath the ground.

Bridge:This is the day of grace today
His presence  is your hideaway
He’ll ne’er forsake, this is His pledge
Don’t live beneath your privilege

This, this, this is the day of grace
This, this, this is the time and place.
Time to approach the glorious throne
To rest in the presence of the living stone
This, this, this is the day of grace.

Life the day of grace and hope. Eccl. 9:4-6,10.
