Echoes of His Excellence


In the praises of the saints
In the works of his hands
The universe paints
What Gods pleasure demands

In Blessing and Creation
He does what he pleases
In Judgment and redemption
His glory increases

The mosaic of history
A Magnificent mystery

Tell of His fame and declare His worth
Echoes of excellence are found in these
So see and savor His greatness oh earth
And our sovereign God is well pleased

God inhabits the praise of his people
He is pleased with our pleasure in Him
Our praises echo his excellence
As we work out what Jesus works in

His delight is in those who fear him,
those who hope in his steadfast love
He is pleased in those who draw near Him
He displays His glory in all that He does
